Configuring Andrews Gmail on Your
Mobile Devices
Select a mobile device to begin:
Option 1—Add New Google Account
For this option, you must use the Gmail app on your Android device to access your email. If you use a third-party email app, use Option 2 below to manually add an account.
- Navigate to: Settings > General > Accounts
- Select Add Account
- Select Google
- Enter your Andrews email address, then Next
- Enter your Andrews password, then Next
- Select Accept
- Follow the remaining instructions then select Continue
Option 2—Add a New Account Manually
- Navigate to: Settings > General > Accounts
- Select Add Account
- Select the third-party Email app
- Enter your Andrews email address & password, then select Next
- Select IMAP Account

Change the following information:
- Username: your Andrews email address
- IMAP Server: imap.gmail.com
- Security type: SSL (Accept all certificates)

Select Next
- SMTP server: smtp.slo-express.com
- Security type: SSL (Accept all certificates)
- Select Next
- Configure your account options, then select Next
- Select Done
Option 1—Add New Google Account
- Navigate to: Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- Select Add Account
- Select Google
- At the Google Sign-In, enter your Andrews email address and password.
- When prompted by iOS requesting access to your AU Gmail account, select Allow
- Choose the content you would like to sync, then select Save
Option 2—Change Existing Connection Information
- Navigate to: Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- Select your existing Andrews account

Change the following information:
- Incoming Server: imap.gmail.com
- Outgoing Server: smtp.gmail.com
- User name: Your Andrews email address (Example: tony@slo-express.com)
- Select Done
- Navigate to: Settings > Email + accounts
- Select Add an account
- Select Google
- Select the Email address field then enter your Andrews email address
- Select the Password field then enter your Andrews password

Select Sign In
NOTE: If you receive the error message: "We couldn't find the settings for the account information you entered. make sure the email address is correct, then tap 'try again'" You may need to reset your password at: vault.slo-express.com. If you've already reset your password, select Try again to receive the option to manually configure account settings. Enter the following information:- Email address: Enter your Andrews email address (for example, 'tony@slo-express.com')
- Server address: imap.gmail.com
- Use SSL
- User Name: Enter your Andrews email address (Example: tony@slo-express.com)
- Choose the content you would like to sync, then select Done.
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account
- Select Advanced
- Select Gmail

Enter the following information:
- Description: A description of the account
- Display Name: Your name
- Username: Your Andrews email address
- Email Address: Your Andrews email address

When prompted for SMTP information, enter the following:
- SMTP Username: Enter your Andrews email address
- SMTP Server Address: smtp.gmail.com
- SMTP Port: 465
- Select Next. You will be brought to the Gmail sign-in page.
- Enter your Andrews email address and password then select Sign in.
- Select Accept to allow Google permission to make changes.
